DELIVERY ESTIMATES

Delivery times vary depending on the time of year, your location, and demand. For most of the year (excluding December), new Patiokits can typically be delivered within:

  • 2-3 weeks to East Coast Metro areas,
  • 3-4 weeks to regional areas, and
  • 6 weeks across most of Australia (excluding very remote areas of Northern WA and the NT).

As 2023 progresses, we’ve seen steady improvements and fewer delays. We’re committed to keeping you updated on delivery dates, and the majority of our customers have been very satisfied with the time it takes to receive their new Patiokit.

Features of Our Genuine COLORBOND® D.I.Y. Hip Roof Carport Kit

  • Attachment Options: Choose to attach to steel/timber fascia or brick wall, or opt for a freestanding design.
  • Roofing: Non-insulated roofing with a modern corrugated profile and an optional double-sided Hi-Gloss finish.
  • Steel Posts: 75x75mm colored steel posts in 3m lengths. Freestanding designs require posts to be set in footings. Upgrade to 90x90mm steel posts in 4m lengths for added height if needed.
  • Steel Beams: Sturdy 100mm, 150mm, or 200mm x 50mm steel beams are included as per engineering requirements.
  • Guttering & Downpipes: Includes quad guttering, barge capping, flashings, and one metal/PVC downpipe.
  • Complete Assembly Kit: All necessary cappings, connectors, fixings, and hardware for easy installation are provided.

Wind Rating

The standard kit is rated N2 (W33). Custom options for higher wind ratings (N3 to N4 or C1 to C4) are available upon request at an additional cost.

Yes, our kits offer a range of customization options:

  • Timber posts (supplied by the client; notify your design consultant).
  • Custom shapes and sizes tailored to your specific needs.
  • Modifications to fit “L” shaped sections attached on two sides.
  • Skylights or clearsheets available for Non-Insulated roofing options.

2. Are the kits engineered and council compliant?
Absolutely! All our kits are fully engineered and council compliant, with required documents, drawings, and certifications included.

3. Can I add lighting to the carport?
Yes, you can add lights to the beams in the roof. A qualified electrician must handle the main connection to your house.

4. Should I install the roof or the slab first?
We recommend building the roof first for a better aesthetic finish. If bolting to an existing slab, ensure it has a minimum thickness of 100mm.
